The following is available for you to use whilst staying at Makanyane Lodge:

• Camp cot, with mattress and linen

• Baby monitor

• High chairs

• Microwave bottle sterilizer

There is a swimming pool and net. Please ensure you advise the Lodge Manager if you would prefer the net on or off for your arrival.

There is fire wood provided at the lodge.  If you need more, it is available to purchase at the entrance gate.

Directions are easiest using Waze and Google Maps (not Apple Maps) as these have Black Rhino Game Reserve pre-loaded.

Coming from Rosebank/Sandton, our preferred route is the R512 past Lanseria Airport to Hartebeespoort Dam and over the Magaliesberg on the new mountain pass that onramps directly with the N4 highway.
Turn off the N4 highway onto the R556 to Sun City.
Stay on the R556 and pass the entrance to Sun City on the right.
Continue for 5km to the STOP sign, turn right at the intersection onto the R565.
Continue on this road ~27 km through a village (note the speed humps) you will see the Black Rhino Game Reserve entrance on the right.
